In December 2023, Reachout Africa embarked on an outreach to KANZENZE, Rwanda. Kanzenze is a rural community in Rwanda and lack the basic needs of life. Most of the inhabitant sleep on grass and do not have access to basic health care. The organization donated sanitary materials like soap, jelly and perfumes to the people of Kanzenze. We also enrolled ten teenage mothers into the Reach out Africa startup capital scheme where we provided these teenage mothers capital to start up their own businesses. We also provided them with mentors who will mentor them and ensure that they use the capital given to them to start up their businesses wisely. We also sponsored 100 people in KANZENZE with free medical insurance under the REACH OUT AFRICA health scheme. These 100 people now have access to medical facilities in Rwanda. We also provided mattresses to ten families to help them sleep comfortably.
